Re: Sammy, yeah, he was more than an idiot this season, which is strange because he's the college-educated Winchester :| My lack of amusement, let me show you it. On the other hand, you've got Dean also fucking up spectacularly, but whereas Sam bedded a demon and she stabbed him in the back, Dean brought an angel down to their level and now they have a powerful ally. Dean: 1, Sam: 0

Date: 2009-05-17 07:07 pm (UTC)It's alright; even I'm still waiting for it to suck less, and I'm reluctant to uproot, but I'm just waiting to see how this whole business pans out.
I would have been sad about Ruby if her actress was still awesome and if her character hadn't lost all sense of ambiguity, but it got REALLY OBVIOUS toward the end of the season. It was moreso a missed opportunity by the writers, really. As a basic note, demons are Very Bad and angels are huge pricks, but we've got an angel who strayed and a demon who seemed to but didn't. No gray areas for demons means there's little hope for Sam, now that he's all black eyes and whatnot.
