Iiiii dunno. I know everything I've read about Fitz and Anji sounds awesome. Hell, I've never even seen Eight's movie.
But really I don't want anything, as absurdly kind as that is. When I have the money (probably after my financial aid comes through) maybe I'll splurge and get some books or audioplays.
Totally unrelated, The Hurt Locker is really, really great so far. You seem to be watching a lotta movies lately. It may be worth the rent.
That is extremely kind of you. I'd hate for you to upload all of them only for me to not get into them or something. Do you have a favorite perhaps? Or anything with Fitz as he really pegs as the sort of character I'd love.
The Taint is the first one that has Fitz in (don't worry, he's the reason I started reading them too). I haven't read all of them myself - there's quite a lot - but I think if you poked around henriettastreet you could probably find some recaps/reviews/squee, which usually mention when there are good Fitz bits.
I FINISHED READING IT. IT WAS GLORIOUS AND I REALLY LIKE EIGHT AND FITZ though Sam kinda annoys me and I'm not sure why. I am gonna have to find some more, srsly, so entertaining.
The torrent I found for the EDAs sucks. Where did you get your copies?
Someone uploaded the lot of them for me. here you go! I was never too fond of Sam either, I'm afraid-- in which case you might want to avoid the EDAs before The Taint, when she's the only companion.
I'm drafting. So far it involves a 49th century rock concert, Fitz giving Amy a talk about the pros and cons of companionism, possibly having Eight psychically tapping into Fitz's head (It Makes Sense In Context), Eleven and Eight having a serious talk about the future, jokes about Eight's numerous bouts of amnesia, and multiple Beatles references. When I get to actually writing, I'll send you a Google Doc invite. May I have your email?
1) Fitz died in the Time War, and the Doctor wears his coat in remembrance.
2) Fitz left the Doctor somehow, and insisted on giving him his coat to remember him by and so the Doctor wouldn't get cold.
3) They hooked up and later, oh, showed up the day the 50th American state to do so legalized gay marriage. People were getting married on the steps of the capitol building and all that, and they decided they might as well join in. And the Doctor insisted Fitz needed to dress more nicely, so Fitz rushed to the wardrobe room, flung off his coat, and got changed into a rather uncomfortable suit in not quite his size, and rushed off to marry the Doctor, the one person he loved the most in the entire multiverse. And he never found the coat again and had to buy a new one, but, of course, he really didn't mind.
And some time after Fitz died in the Doctor's arms at the age of seventy-one, the Doctor regenerated and the coat turned up again, and he started wearing it because it was so comforting and smelled faintly of Woodbines.
See, my theory is like that, but also involves Fitz's travels in spacetime giving him heavy doses of Artron energy so he ages very very slowly as well, thought neither notice because telling time while in the TARDIS is difficult. And then Fitz becomes a Time Lord somehow and NEVER DIES OR SOMETHING I DON'T KNOW
For ultimate irony, I hope the 50th state is California.
Let's get dangerous.
