I just finished The Blue Angel EDA.

God, that was fucking weird. I'm a little in love with Obverse!Doctor and his big house with Fitz and Compassion. And Compassion is really interesting character-wise, the ultimate pragmatist and rationalist, it seems.

Sadly cannot find Obverse fic. What a shame.

That said, wtf, that ending! Part hilarious clusterfuck, part mindscrew, part did she just turn into a squid?!

Not as good as YoIT, but definitely a good read.

Still need a beta for more EDA fic, if anyone's interested. Now I have to pick between City of the Dead, Eater of Wasps, or trying Vanishing Point again. Hrm hrm.

Oh, I adore Obverse!Doc. How's that for worse than everyone's aunt? Bless. Campy, ambiguously gay mermaid mama's boy, legpreg'd Eight. :D

[livejournal.com profile] kindkit has written two Obverse fics, and... this one is not actually set in the Obverse, I just thought it was for a while 'cos I'm dumb. It's based on The Blue Angel and it's similar to the Obverse stuff, and you should read it because it's lovely.

Sorry about the random comment.. I'm here from the Act Three and I saw this and it made me want to point you in the direction of this Obverse fic:

I haven't even read Blue Angel yet - I just read any and all Eight fic - but I really like it. It has one of my favourite ever descriptions of the Doctor.

I've read that one. It was written by one of Blue Angel's authors. Totally brilliant. God, I love the Obverse. It's like domestic fic, but on depressants.
