luciazephyrI, for one, welcome Eight's fantastic steampunky outfit and it's awesome new sonic.
For EDA purposes, I will assume he picked this out sometime afterthe Book that Never WasThe Gallifrey Chronicles after borrowing Fitz's coat and realizing leather is quite warm and comfy.
SCRUFFY. ♥ Now we know what Eight looked like in the Sabbath Arc.
I even kinda buy the idea of Eight not having his long curls. I KNOW, BLASPHEMY, and I know that's only because McGann is not a fan of wigs, but... it still looks like Eight to me.
It's not a finished outfit-- apparently the bag, coat, and sonic are good to go but the trousers and shirt are just Paul's normal clothes, but mmmmmmm ♥
STEAMPUNK SONIC. MADE BY THE WETA FUCKING WORKSHOP. Oh yes bitches, Weta made that thing, you know it'll like actually sonic shit, it ain't just a prop, goddam.

I bet the satchel is dimensionally transcendental, unlike the coat pockets. He can keep snacks in it to indulge his "almost maternal urge" to feed people. Like, a thermos of tea and a box of biscuits and some apples and pears.
btw, re: the pockets, they aren't bigger on the inside like Ten claims. Every Doctor apparently rips the seams in the lining of their coats to turn the entire coat into a giant pocket to carry stuff in. Eight mentions it becomes a problem when you stuff something in there and it falls around your back so you can't grab it.
