I'm kind of taking a night off from writing fic for the first time in about 35 days. Ya rly, guize. LET'S DO SOME MEMES!

Your main fandom of the year?
I edged out of the MGS fandom, spent most of the year in the EDA fandom, and am now migrating to the Dresden Files fandom.

Your favourite film watched this year?
A tie between Inception and Scott Pilgrim vs the World.

Your favourite book read this year?
One of the Dresden books. Uh.... Death Masks. Fucking awesome book, that one. The case was awesome, the supporting cast was great, MARCONE WAS A GQBAMF, and the sex was surprisingly hot, ngl.

Your favourite album or song to listen to this year?
Arcade Fire's entire collection. I discovered them this year. I really liked the new Suburbs album, but Neon Bible owns my heart. The only song on it I am not head-over-fucking-heels for is "Ocean of Noise."

Your favourite TV show of the year?
I don't want TV fannishly, but um... oh, I think I discovered Dead Like Me this year! And Pushing Daisies! FUCK YEAH, DRAMEDIES ABOUT DEATH BY BRYAN FULLER.

Your favourite LJ community of the year?
Hm. I honestly don't think I participated in any, not really. I did a lot of fannish activity through delicious and stalking individual journals.

Your best new fandom discovery of the year?
Harry Blackstone Copperfield Dresden. Oh, you snarky, broken hero and your equally fabulous friends.

Your biggest fandom disappointment of the year?
Valve still not fucking releasing fucking Half-Life 2: Episode 3, the fucking fucks, what the fuck is taking so fucking long?

Your TV boyfriend of the year?
Ned, the Piemaker.

Your TV girlfriend of the year?
River FUCKING Song. Oh god, my crush on her is massively inappropriate, fuuuuuuuck.

Your biggest squee moment of the year?
Oh god... The season finale of Sons of Anarchy (EAT IT, BITCH! KARMA!), "With him, it's the real thing," hearing AF's "Sprawl II: Mountains Beyond Mountains" for the first time, "You mustn't be afraid to dream a little bigger, darling," Harry's "Blow me," and probably a lot of others.

The most missed of your old fandoms?
Um. None? I'm kind of polyfannish at the moment, so I do keep checking back in on old fandoms.

The fandom you haven't tried yet, but want to?
God, none. Writing a stupid-length fic is all I can handle fannishly at the moment.

Your biggest fan anticipations for the New Year?
My plans for other things the road to hell is paved with and THE NEXT FUCKING HALF-LIFE, COME ON VALVE, STOP JERKING OFF INTO YOUR TUB FULL OF MONEY AND FINISH THAT SHIT.

Also, I think I had, uh, a LOT of new people watching this LJ now. Hi, new people! Lemme find some relevant "who the hell is this lucy person" memes...
