New MoC is almost done. In the meantime, have some Twitter shenanigans.

During the heat wave in the Midwest...
@HarriedWizard: Guess my bitching about the heat paid off, at least in Chicago.
@LucyZephyr: I'll be less likely to drive to Chicago and punch you in the nose if you ventas some of that south.
@HarriedWizard: I live to servitas.
@LucyZephyr: :face, meet palm:
@HarriedWizard: Oh, come on, you can't blame me for answering a perfect setup!
@LucyZephyr: Well in that case-- wait... :thinks: No, I think I really can. You are a dorkface.
@HarriedWizard: Unfair. You know I don't call girls names.
@LucyZephyr: If you ever called me a name, I'd be deeply impressed with your progress. Alas. (Jerk.)
@HarriedWizard: I do not understand women.
@LucyZephyr: That's because you constantly focus on perceived differences in gender instead of just interacting.
@HarriedWizard: That's another knock at chivalry, isn't it?
@LucyZephyr: Chivalry is sexism, Harry, sorry to tell you.
@HarriedWizard: I think you'd like Murphy.
@LucyZephyr: We could team up to tie you to a chair and read Gender Studies books aloud to you.
@HarriedWizard: You know, that idea is kinda hot.
@LucyZephyr: SEE? THIS IS WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT! :face in hands:

Wherein we have odd conversations...
@HarriedWizard: Gentleman John Marcone could double for the title character in "Jaws." That is one icy, scary son of a bitch.
@LucyZephyr: Not the title character of... um.... fuck, why are there no horror movies about tigers?
@HarriedWizard: I've made the tiger analogy before, but he's a little scarier than Rajah in "Aladdin."
@LucyZephyr: Now imaging Marcone as Rajah and Ivy as Jasmine. Come on, that fits pretty well.
@LucyZephyr: Nicodemus is Jafar. You're probably Aladdin, saving the day. I think that makes Kincaid Sultan. I should stop talking now.
@LucyZephyr: No, wait, you're the genie, obviously. The whole magic thing.
@HarriedWizard: Not sure, but I think you just called me fat.
@LucyZephyr: No, I called you Robin Williams, which is unspeakably worse.

Wherein Harry does not get gender equality. At all.
@HarriedWizard, talking to @JohnMarcone about dating (long story): Yeah, well, I don't get my "dates" at Executive Priority, John.
@LucyZephyr: Harry Blackstone Copperfield Dresden, don't you *dare*, I will kick your ass! Stuff the sexism.
@HarriedWizard: Hey, watch with the name calling there!
@LucyZephyr: Oh like the Baron doesn't have every printed record of you life already. Have you *met* the man?
@LucyZephyr: And the name calling is *warranted*. You start slut-shaming, I will drive from FL to Chicago and punch you.
@HarriedWizard: Slut-shaming?
@LucyZephyr: Enforcing your narrow-minded ideas of how women should handle their bodies when it's not your place.
@LucyZephyr: Please, explain to me in detail what is wrong with the women of Executive Priority. I'm *so* interested.
@HarriedWizard: That's not even...Christ, that's not even what I was saying!
@LucyZephyr: Then *what* is wrong with John dating someone who works at EP?
@HarriedWizard: I didn't say there was. It wasn't about them; it was about HIM.
@LucyZephyr: Uh huh, yeah, no, honey. You were talking about the "dates" he gets there. :crosses arms:
@LucyZephyr: Just hang your head, say you're sorry, and hush up, sweetheart.
@HarriedWizard: Ugh.
@LucyZephyr: Yeah, how do you think I feel about it? :sighs: Christ, Harry.
@HarriedWizard: I don't understand women.
@LucyZephyr: That's because you are sometimes a sexist cock.

@JohnMarcone: Well, @LucyZephyr, you and @HarriedWizard are having a fascinating exchange, I see.
@LucyZephyr: I abide slut-shaming about as much as you abide involving children in crime.
@HarriedWizard: I don't even know what the hell slut-shaming IS.
@LucyZephyr: NO SHIT REALLY? I *never* would have guessed! (I am being *deeply* sarcastic.)
@JohnMarcone: Lucia, Dresden is lost in archaic ideas and a young man's drive. He simply cannot help himself.
@HarriedWizard: I do NOT need your goddamned help, Marcone.
@LucyZephyr: Could you give him a desk job at EP for a week or something? Maybe that'll help? :sighs:
@JohnMarcone: He has consistently declined employment offers. Furthermore, my insurance premiums would skyrocket.
@LucyZephyr: Maybe I can get a spray bottle and hit him with water every time he says something sexist, like a cat?
@HarriedWizard: You know, I'm RIGHT HERE reading this crap.
@LucyZephyr: Then take it as a hint. John > You on gender issues, and that's just sad (no offense, John, you're a Don).
@JohnMarcone: Not a Don, Lucia, but a businessman. And I know to treat people equally, according to their individual qualities.
@LucyZephyr: Oh, John. I'm over here sighing girlishly and I don't even swing your way.
@JohnMarcone: What an exceptionally flattering thing to say, Lucy. Thank you.

@CyrinellaJ, re: using a spray bottle on Harry: I think Harry would respond to positive training better. Treats every time he says something not sexist!
@HarriedWizard: So let's be clear: even if I don't mean to be sexist, even if I try to treat women like ladies, I'm still sexist?
@CyrinellaJ: Yes. Treat women as people. "Treat them as ladies" has so much baggage I can't even.
@LucyZephyr: When you treat someone differently because of their gender, YES.
@HarriedWizard: I'm going to Mac's to get an ale or four and see if sometime, somewhere, somehow, I will learn to understand the opposite sex.

Oh, Harry.

I tried to recommend [twitter.com profile] feministhulk to him, but I think FH would be over his head.

I'm wondering if he's thinking two women tying him up and Reading to him is hot because it's a)getting tied up and b)not being harmed and c)two women, that sounds interesting as long as b is true.

Harry seems to have some problems grasping the inherent sexism that isn't prostitution that he encodes in his references to the women working there.

I sometimes think he's been taking belated cues from Michael and Charity as surrogate parents-modeling-relationship-rules.
