My favorite is Death Masks! I just can't resist all the Marcone, and Gard putting on "Ride of the Valkyries" in the helicopter!

It's been a number of years since I read that, but I can't remember wanting to throw it through a wall or something.

(I'm actually being grumpy that serial fiction is A Thing in urban fantasy. Do I want to read 7 books so I can remember who everyone is in book 8? NO!)
