Luce: *sitting in her chair, doing research about LOST* *sees shiny 'WATCH THIS CLUE' link* *squees and clicks*
Video: *plays*
Luce: *watches raptly until...* OMGWTFAHHH! *has a massive panic attack!*
Luce's Mom: *sitting next to Luce, reading* *looks up* What in the world was that?!
Luce: *heavy breathing* Um... nothing.
Luce's Mom: You just moved the chair five inches backwards with your body movement.
Luce: Um. *hands Mom laptop*
Luce's Mom: Ah.
Luce: Yeah.
Silence...
Luce's Mom: That was hilarious.
Luce: I ALMOST HAD A HEART ATTACK, WOMAN!
Luce's Mom: *goes back to reading* But you didn't.

I love my mom. I really do.
